What we do

The Recovery Station Toronto and Neutral Bay Clinics provide a central location to receive your combination of Allied Health services or we can come to you in your local area.

Our skilled professionals offer you a variety of 1:1 treatments and classes to help you restore and maintain optimal physical health, mobility and to meet your goals. The result is an extremely effective method of training for improving movement, health and fitness.

Attending our wheelchair-accessible clinics has several advantages including:

  • accessing fantastic equipment to help with your specific training program
  • participating in a fun environment with your clinician and other participants
  • potential to participate in group sessions (where appropriate), stretching your funding further and adding a social element to your exercise
  • reducing travel costs incurred

How we’re different

We offer a range of small group classes with our professional Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists to suit your health and fitness goals.

We provide several different styles of classes aimed at addressing different health and fitness goals.

To assist you reach your fitness and energy goals we also offer supervised gym sessions, off-site hydrotherapy, balance and strengthening classes.

We also provide specific tailored programs for disability groups, seniors and veterans. This includes PD Warrior, Teen Gym, MS Moves, Healthy Movers, Move for your Mood, Neuro Station and the Wellness Program. Small group programs can be provided through our Toronto and Neutral Bay clinics or can be offered in the community, we are happy to come to your local park, Day Program or Group Home.

PD Warrior

This unique exercise program helps to fight the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. Addressing both the physical and cognitive areas it is specifically designed to re-train your body and brain, build your confidence and help you move more freely.

Supervised Gym Class

These sessions are supervised by our Physiotherapists to ensure your safety and the accurate use of the equipment in order to meet your specific health and fitness goals. These sessions combine the use of selected stations, equipment and small group exercise classes, to give you support, motivation and confidence.

MS Moves

Targeted exercise program for individuals living with multiple sclerosis. This program aims to manage some of the symptoms of MS and decrease the effects of physical inactivity. Experience the benefits of exercise whilst addressing some of the barriers and challenges affecting the ability to be active.

Teen Gym

For 12-17yr olds. Structured, term based programs of fun activities to get your body moving. Regular, social and fun groups to improve balance, co-ordination, muscular strength, cardiovascular fitness and skill-based tasks. Flexible & Rolling Programs with Accredited Exercise Physiologists & Physiotherapists.

Physiotherapy Exercise Class

Works to strengthen the core, improve flexibility, balance and stamina. These classes are open to all ages and levels of ability and use your body weight as the primary source of resistance.

Neuro Core

Strengthening, balance practice and cardiovascular exercises are provided under the supervision of our professional Physiotherapists. This group program is open to older adults who may be at risk of falls or who require re-conditioning.

Move for your Mood

Improving mental health symptoms through participation in regular physical activity and lifestyle modification, behavioural change coaching. Provides an opportunity for social interaction with peers, to develop social skills, independence and self-confidence.

Healthy Moves

Improving mental health symptoms through participation in regular physical activity and lifestyle modification, behavioural change coaching. Provides an opportunity for social interaction with peers, to develop social skills, independence and self-confidence.

Young Vets

An exercise class for young veterans. A fun class to stay fit and work out with your mates. Each week our Exercise Physiologist will guide you through balance and strengthening exercises that will work your core and will leave you feeling energised.
