Recovery Station provides community and clinic based allied health services, with a strong focus on disability and senior health. For nearly 20 years we have consistently grown and now proudly offer support to people with diverse needs across the Greater Hunter, Central Coast, Sydney and Illawarra regions.
Together, our passionate, multidisciplinary team of OTs, Mental Health OT’s, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants collaboratively share their knowledge and experience to holistically design an individualised service to help improve the quality of life for people living with a disability or looking to age as independently as possible.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and supportive Team Leader to guide a team of 6 Team Coordinators.
Our Team Coordinators assist with the scheduling of appointments for our clinicians (the OT’s, Physio’s, Speech Pathologists etc mentioned above) and your position will assist in overseeing this process along with ensuring the smooth day to day running of our office.
Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering structured, personalised training for new and existing team members
- Conducting Quality Assurance audits of client files to ensure we are delivering accurate and best practice service
- Providing scheduling support to clinicians & leave cover for your team where required (either directly or by reallocating assistance)
- Collaborating with HR during onboarding and offboarding
- Managing process improvement projects and policy & procedural changes to continually enhance the quality of service delivery
- Liaising with another OTL who oversees our Toronto team
- Office management plus infrequent travel to other offices such as Erina to best support your team
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5) based from our Neutral Bay office close to bars, shops, cafes, public transport and free parking.
We also aim to enjoy a nice balance between working from home and having a fun, social feel in the office too.
About You
To excel within this role, you’ll possess:
- Genuine empathy and interest in making a difference in the lives of people with a disability and the aged
- Prior experience leading a team with the ability and desire to nurture and train new team members
- Ability to forward plan, multi-task and communicate effectively with business units such as Finance, Marketing our Clinical teams
- Experience in the Health sector would be advantageous but is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided
