New Head of Disciplines
Recovery Station has recently introduced a Head of Discipline roles within our clinical teams. The Head of Discipline role will assist in providing our clinical teams with:
- A high level of clinical support, supervision and guidance when managing complex and challenging cases.
- Ensuring maintenance of high quality of care for Recovery Stations clients.
- Improving our quality assurance procedures within the company for best outcomes for all parties.
- Assist in the continued growth and professional development of the clinicians within their discipline as part of the ongoing CPD program.
The team consists of:
Mental Health Occupational Therapy Head of Discipline – Erin Ashworth
Erin has been working as an Occupational Therapist for 15 years and has been part of the Recovery Station team for nearly four years.
Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Head of Discipline– Janelle Murdoch
Janelle has been working as a Physiotherapist for 26 years and has been part of the Recovery Station team for two and a half years.
Speech Pathology and Dietetics Head of Discipline – Dr Nicole Byrne
Nicole has been working as a Speech Pathologist for 28 years and has been part of the Recovery Station team for two and a half years.
Erin, Janelle and Nicole all bring a wealth of knowledge to our team and have a wide and varied experience across the disability and aged care sector. We are so excited to have them in these new roles to support and assist our ever-growing team.
