access to telepractice and essential allied health services

EnableNSW & HACC

EnableNSW provides equipment and services to people in NSW with chronic health conditions or disability to assist them with mobility, communication and self-care. Our Occupational Therapists are trained to complete the forms and submit your application for equipment, waiving the extended waiting periods that can happen. We are trained in Aids and Equipment Program.

Commonwealth (HACC) Program

The Commonwealth HACC Program provides services that support older people to stay at home and be more independent in the community. The services provided under HACC Program include allied health services like physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Home modifications can also be arranged in the HACC program. HACC services are available to people:

  • aged 65 years and over (or 50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people),
  • in all states and territories (except Victoria and Western Australia),
  • who are at risk of premature or inappropriate admission to long term residential care
  • carers of older Australians eligible for services under the Commonwealth HACC Program.
