Meet Al, the man who never stops smiling

Meet Al… It’s hard to believe that Al, with his big smile and cheery presence once used to be housebound and sit in his chair in panic mode. Diagnosed with MS, he was severely affected by the symptoms including loss of focus and appetite. He used to get exhausted easily and had tremors that were terrifying. He was physically and mentally in bad shape.

After some encouragement from his friends, Al started Pilates at Recovery Station with Belinda who “really cared about progress”. Al noticed an immediate improvement in his balance and strength. He then began one on one sessions and now comes twice a week to the Supervised Gym. Al’s strength continues to increase and with the support of his friends, family and those around him is going from strength to strength. He has even been for a run. Go Al!!
