Your day to day
This role will join a team of EP’s and Physio’s to service a client base on the Central Coast or Newcastle/ Lake Mac. You can see clients and catch up with team mates in our Erina or Toronto clinic as well as work from home. We currently have the additional caseload for someone to join us initially 2-3 days/week and we can aim to build to full-time if so desired.
A community role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility and control over how you structure your work week. Having genuine flexibility and trust from your manager really suits the members of our team who want to be able to do the school drop off/pick up or get to the gym and do some life admin when it’s most convenient.
Day to day will work with clients in their homes, local gyms, parks, pools, aged care facilities, group homes or somewhere else out in the community that’s relevant for them and their goals.
You will assist a range of clients living with a disability, neurological conditions or looking to age as gracefully and independently as possible. The majority are funded under the NDIS, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and community aged care packages.
Your compassionate nature and enjoyment of helping others will assist people achieve independence, improved quality of life and safety to live life to the fullest.
You’ll be supported to deliver:
- A range of comprehensive assessments
- Individual and group sessions
- Falls prevention and rehabilitation initiatives
- Home exercise programs to improve mobility or assist weight loss or weight gain
- Education programs e.g. exercise for chronic disease
Our services can encompass active rehabilitation, conditioning, neuro, aquatic therapy and more.
To be considered for this role you must be registered with ESSA, possess current First Aid & CPR, a driver’s licence with access to your own reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening.

From a professional development perspective
- You will receive a thorough orientation consisting of in-house time + in-field shadowing days with your Supervisor
- Ongoing one on one meetings with your Supervisor to design your personal learning plan, which will be a roadmap to help you achieve your goals as a clinician eg doing a course such as PD Warrior or moving into a leadership role
- Your one on ones will be complimented with team meetings with your fellow EP’s and Physios so you can learn during in-service sessions, share ideas, resources and stay abreast of any industry updates
- We love facilitating development pathways for clinicians seeking career progression and added responsibility via either supervising students/ grads/ junior staff, increased complexity of caseload or involvement in management procedures depending on what avenue you’d like to explore
- Two days paid CPD leave per annum
- Formal and informal liaison opportunities with other members of our MDT to broaden your clinical knowledge and provide holistic care to our clients
- Companywide training day where we bring the entire business together (130+) and invite external presenters to provide unique, tailored CPD for each discipline based on your requests
