Recovery Station works with you to create a therapy plan that meets your individual goals. We can also discuss options that may stretch your NDIS funding and timeline further.
Here’s How:
1. Reduce travel costs
Clinic appointments and Telepractice appointments do not incur any travel costs. You should discuss which option or mix of options suits you best.
2. Participate in Group Programs
If you utilise individual exercise programs, enquire about the suitability of group exercise programs. The cost is split between the participants in that group session.(Pending availability and suitability)
3. Allied Health Assistants (AHA)
Using an allied health assistant for the delivery of therapy programs saves budget and therefore increases therapy hours.
4. Integrated allied health team
An integrated allied health team can be more efficient at developing the therapy plan to work towards your goals. Having your allied health team within one company assists in clear communication between allied health clinicians, resulting in more efficient therapy plans.
5. Understanding what report is required by the NDIS
The NDIS determines required reports based on their operational guidelines. Your therapist will discuss the reporting requirements to clinically justify your needs in the most time and cost-effective manner possible so you are not surprised by any unexpected costs at the end of your plan.
