At Recovery Station, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team with more than 20 years of experience supporting people across aged care and disability. You’ll work across a diverse adult and adolescent caseload supported by experienced Occupational Therapists, Mental Health OT’s, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants.

The Opportunity 

Day to day your caseload will consist of people over 12yrs of age, who may have a range of disabilities (e.g. intellectual disability, Autism, Down Syndrome), neurological events (e.g. stroke, acquired brain injury, brain tumour), and/or a degenerative disease (e.g. Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington’s Disease, dementia).

Your caseload may include:

  • Dysphagia assessment and mealtime management
  • Communication assessment and intervention
  • Aphasia, dyspraxia and voice disorders
  • High and low-tech AAC
  • Functional communication and capacity-building supports
