Our Speech Pathologist, Kristin and Allied Health Assistant, Kirra received some lovely feedback from their client, Matt.
In his own words “I want to say thank you and share how good of a job Kristin and Kirra have done to get my speech to where it is now”.
Matt’s Story
Before undertaking therapy with Recovery Station, people couldn’t understand what Matt was trying to communicate. Matt now has the ability to have a full conversation and as a result, his relationships have improved.
He is thrilled with the results as he thought that his speech would never change. He now notices when he makes mistakes in his conversations and slows down to correct himself or he takes the time to speak more clearly.
Matt has worked extremely hard in the last two NDIS plan periods. Working with Allied Health Assistant, Kirra on a regular basis, Matt has achieved all of the goals that he set with his Speech Pathologist, Kristen.
The best news is that Matt is graduating from Speech Pathology and we couldn’t be more proud!
