Our Get Going Falls Prevention Program is designed to improve strength, balance and confidence while supporting your independence.
Falls are one of the leading causes of injury, hospitalisation and loss of independence for older Australians. Yet many falls are preventable.
Often, falls don’t happen without warning. Reduced strength, poor balance, slower movement, fatigue, loss of confidence and decreased activity levels can all increase the risk of falling and make everyday tasks more difficult.
The good news is that targeted assessment, exercise, and early intervention can significantly reduce the risk of falls and help people remain independent for longer.
